Admission to Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma Courses in Ayurveda, Kerala

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has invited application for admission to (i) Post Graduate Degree Courses in Ayurveda in the Government, Aided and Self-Financing Ayurveda Colleges of the State (ii) Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Ayurveda in the Government and Aided Ayurveda Colleges of the State for 2023.

Participating Institutes: Post Graduate Degree courses are offered at Government Ayurveda Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Trippunithura and Kannur, Aided Ayurveda Colleges in Ollur and Kottakkal and other Self-Financing Colleges. Post Graduate Diploma Courses are available at Government Ayurveda Colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Trippunithura, Kannur and Aided Ayurveda College at Kottakkal. 

Eligibility: Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin. Non-Keralites are also eligible to apply for admission to PG Ayurveda Degree All India Quota seats available in the Self-Financing colleges.

Age: There is no upper age limit. In case of Service Quota candidates, the age limit for Teachers Quota candidates will be 50 and that for Medical Officer Quota, will be 46, as on 31.07.2023.

Academic Qualifications: Applicant should have a recognised Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda (BAM /Ayurvedacharya /BAMS) with 50% marks for theory and practical separately in each subject. Exemption in minimum marks for admission for MD (Ay)/ MS (Ay) is granted to those who have passed BAMS/BAM examination before 1995 from the Universities of Kerala without 50% of marks for theory and practical. 

Applicant should have completed internship by 31st August, 2023. Admission will be given only on the production of Internship Certificate and Registration Certificate from the Council constituted in this regard. 

Applicant should have qualified in AIAPGET 2023 securing the minimum percentile score prescribed. 

Mode of selection: The Selection of the candidates shall be made from the rank list prepared by the CEE, based on the AIAPGET 2023 rank, subject to eligibility conditions as mentioned in the prospectus. 

Applications, including of Service Candidates can be submitted online till 4 pm on 6.10.2023 at www.cee.kerala.gov.in by entering the required AIAPGET 2023 details Prospectus for the Programmes are available at this site. 

Application Fee is for General Quota or Service quota is Rs.1000/- and that for General Quota and Service Quota is Rs.2000/-. For SC/ST applicants, it is Rs. 500/- (General Quota), Rs. 1000/- (Service Quota) and Rs.1500/- (General & Service Quota). Application fee must be remitted online.
