AYUSH Minister Sarbanand Sonowal said the National Arogya Fair showcase the rich legacy of Indian Traditional Medicine Systems of diversity, innovation and healthcare delivery in AYUSH Sector. Inaugurating the National Arogya Fair 2024 in New Delhi on Thursday, the Minister said that the fair’s  ‘Har din Har Ghar AYUSH' campaign imparts the benefits of Indian traditional medicine systems to the people. He added that within 9 years of its conception, the AYUSH Ministry has promoted India’s holistic healthcare tradition with more than 900 Ayush start-ups and 9000 Health and Wellness Centres. Mr. Sonowal also informed that under the National AYUSH Mission, continuous efforts are being made to take AYUSH to every district of the country. He added that the International Day of Yoga, Ayurveda Day and World Health Organisation’s Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Gujarat is further proof of India's traditional healthcare knowledge going global.
 
The four-day National Arogya Fair is a showcase of India’s cultural and historical legacy in holistic healthcare. The event is open to all, free of charge, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi till the 4th of February.
