Free Ayurveda yoga camp at AU

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University department of yoga and consciousness has been conducting free Ayurveda yoga camps since December 2022. Department honorary director Dr OSRU Bhanu Kumar said that nearly 230 people, aged between 35 and 80 years, have so far attended the camps. Thursdays of every week are dedicated for the reinspection of patients by Dr K Ishwar Rao, a retired professor from KGH-AMC. The aim of Ayurveda is to prevent diseases rather than treating a particular disease. It was observed that about 32 % of patients come with musculoskeletal problems.TNN
