NABH to provide intensive training to prepare assessors for evaluation of Ayush healthcare organizations

The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) has unveiled a five-day intensive training programme aimed at preparing assessors for the evaluation of Ayush Healthcare Organizations. This initiative aligns with the Ayush Accreditation Standards and is set to take place between July 15 and 19, 2024 in New Delhi.

NABH's Assessors’ Training Programme is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to assess Ayush healthcare facilities effectively. The training will be conducted in an onsite format, ensuring immersive and interactive learning experiences. Participants will engage in various teaching exercises, and their performance will be evaluated daily, culminating in a written examination on the final day.

“This training programme represents a significant opportunity for professionals in the Ayush sector to enhance their expertise and contribute to the improvement of healthcare standards across the country. By participating, individuals will not only gain valuable insights but also potentially join the esteemed group of NABH assessors, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of Ayush healthcare in India,” according to an NABH official.

Only shortlisted participants will be required to pay the fee online through the "pay now" option available under the Training & Education Tab.
Eligibility Criteria is Graduates in Ayush disciplines (BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS) with a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in an Ayush hospital. Higher qualifications in Ayush clinical branches will be preferred for Post-graduates in Hospital Management after a Bachelor's degree in Ayush systems, with 10 years of working experience in an Ayush Hospital, including at least 5 years in hospital administration or quality departments.

Proven experience in implementing Ayush Hospital or Panchakarma Clinic accreditation standards, or successful completion of POI on these standards. Additional Quality Management Certifications, proficiency with NABH standards and their interpretation, excellent communication skills, and competence in using the internet and MS Office.
